Two people tested the omicron positive in Chandigarh

Chandigarh: After a 20-year-old man from Italy who had landed in India on November 22 and came to visit his relatives at Chandigarh tested positive Omicron on December 11, two relatives had also been found positive for the variant.
Of the three cases, two have expired after they are quarantined and tested negatively RPCR by the UT health department.
The 20-year-old man is the first case of a variant in the city.

On Sundays, two contacts were found to have an Omicron virus.
Development has been symptomatic and fully vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine that he took in Italy.
One of them is an 80-year-old man who is a hypertensive patient but does not show symptoms.

On the last retest on December 24, he returned positive.
He will be tested again on 1.
January.
The second is a 45-year-old man, who was reported as a negative RPCR on December 24 and has been repatriated.
The genome sequencing report of the three remains is delayed but everything is tested negatively on RT PCR that retests on December 24 and runs out.
At present, there is one active Omicron case, while the other two have run out after RPCR is negative.
The report takes almost two weeks to come.
This is the time when the patient positively filled their quarantine too, “said an official at the UT Health Department.
The level of participants, less than 1% since the last four months have now increased to 1% because the cases of Daily Covid have begun to increase.
