Margao: Two police officers attached to the Colva police station died after they were beaten by a car that was fast at Seraulim around midnight on Saturday.
Shailesh Gaonkar (30), Balli resident, died in place, while Vishwas Deykar (32), a resident of Ambailaium, surrendered to injury while being taken to the hospital.
The incident occurred when the police were in the assignment of Nakabandi in the area at around 12:20 a.m., police said.
