Dubai: The alleged US drone strike on Sunday killed three people in Central Yemen, including two al-Qaeda jihadists, said local government officials.
“Drones believed to be Americans are targeting a car carrying a man, who is likely to be members of Al-Qaeda, and his wife, resulting in a second injury,” a government official, who speaks with anonymous requirements, told AFP.
“Three people, a civilian and two suspected Al-Qaeda gatmen, who are in the vehicle leading to the site to help the injured targeted in other attacks and killed.” Second government officials in the border region between the central provinces of Shabwa and Al-Bayda confirmed two strikes and deaths.
