New Delhi: Two Covid Vaccine Doses succeeded in preventing 95% death because Covid-19 during the second wave, while the lower death of 82% among those inoculated with one dose, the government said quoting studies conducted by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) Among the more than 1.2 lakh police personnel, who are at high risk of infection, in Tamil Nadu.
The study also assumes the significance such as those carried out during the second wave which is largely driven by the deployment of the Delta variant, implying that this vaccine is effective against variants that have been found very contagious and irritating large amounts, generating large quantities.

The findings of this study were delivered by Niti Aayog Members of Health Dr.
V K Paul on Friday, reaffirming the importance of vaccination in preventing severe infections and death.
About 1.17,524 police personnel were analyzed for studies where they were not vaccinated 17,059, while those who received one dose were 32,792 and those who were fully vaccinated were 67,673.
The research findings showed the incidence of death from Covid-19 was 1.17 per 1000 among those who were not vaccinated, while reduced to 0.21 per 1000 in groups that received a dose of Jab Covid.
The death rate fell to 0.06 per 1,000 among people who were fully vaccinated with two doses of covid vaccine.
“We want to repeat that our vaccine is effective and very safe,” said Dr.
Paul.
