Coimbatore: City police arrested two chain minper on Tuesday and recovered from their two gold chains weighing 11.5 sovereign.
On Monday, the Duo, which was identified as a 23-year-old RR Santhosh, Armyalur, and a 20-year-old Vignesh, the PERAMBAL, had taken two gold chains from as many women as possible from Sundapalayam-Vedapatti Road and TV Samy Road (West) at the hospital Puram.
A police officer said both were construction workers.
“Around 8:45 a.m.
on Monday, they attended the 40-year-old Srija, Venugopal’s wife from PN Pudur, on their bicycle as she traveled with her scooter to her office at Puram Hospital.
He was on his way to the office on the scooter.
When he approached Arun Enclave Apartment on TV Samy Road (West), they won the golden chain of 5.5 sovereign and drove.
“Based on Srija complaints, the police RS Puram registered a case.
The second, the officer said, then followed N Vincent Ravikumar, 57 and his wife V Nirmala, 53, from Kalalacedacepalaryam and pushed their partner from their motorcycle at Sundapalayam – Vedapatti Road at around 10:45 a.m.

Police RS Puram, meanwhile, collecting CCTV recordings from the crime scene and traced both with the help of their motorcycle registration number.
“They are under the influence of alcohol.
