Palanpur: The controversial popular builder of the controversial Ahmedabad-based company is on the news for the wrong reason.
This time, two sons and daughters in-laws Raman Patel promoters were stuck in a very drunk condition in two separate places in Aravalli and Mehsana on Saturday night, police officers said.
While Priyesh Patel and his wife Komal was arrested by Shamlaji police near AnSol checkpoint in Arvalli, his younger brother Monang was caught near the Nandasan intersection in Mehsana along with the other three.
Monang Patel was accused of making efforts to murder and harassment with his father in a case submitted by his wife at the Vastrapur police in August 2020.
According to Fir which was submitted by Shamlaji police, the police were deployed at the checkpoint when they saw a car.
When they saw a car pushed in a hurry.
They stopped the car and found that the pair -priyesh and command – inside.
Both of them smell liquor.
The police team told Komal to undergo a Breathalyzer test and insert the nozzle in his mouth and blow air in it.
But he refused to undergo a test that quoted a Covid-19 pandemic.
Priyesh her husband also gave the same reason to avoid the test.
Meanwhile, the police called two punch witnesses, who kissed their mouths and confirmed that they were drunk.
“Their eyes are red because of their drunkenness and their speech,” said Cemara.
Shamlaji police ordered Priyesh to drive drunk and comal to consume liquor.
On the other hand, Monang was very drunk with three other people in the car near Nandsan Crossroads by the Mehsana police team deployed there to check the drunk driving case.
According to FIR submitted with Mehsana police, Monang also could not speak and failed the Sobhiety field test after that he was ordered by the police under the allegations of the ban.
Two other friends named Vishwanath Raval from Vejalpur and Nikunj Patel from Ranip were also found drunk.
Popular builders face the first legal issue in August last year after Monang’s wife accused sexual torture and tried to kill her and Raman Patel.
Then, they were charged with around six cases of cheating and land grabbing by city police.
Monang was released with a guarantee of the Gujarat High Court in January, but Raman was still behind the bar.
