Srinagar: Two terrorists belonging to Lashkar-e-Taiba’s forbidden terror clothes were killed in a meeting with security forces in the Shopian Jammu District and Kashmir on Saturday, police said.
Acting on specific inputs about the existence of terrorists in the Kilbal area of South Kashmir Regency, security forces launched Cordon and search search for there, a police officer said.
He said when the troops conducted a search in the area, terrorists hid opened fire on them.
Troops retaliated, then the meeting where two terrorists were killed, the official said.
He said those killed were locals from the Front Resistance (TRF), a group of shadows of Lashkar-e-Taiba (leave).
The burdensome material, including arms and ammunition, restored from the location of the meeting.
