Bengaluru: Breaking a few records along the way, Karnataka has discussed twotirds from the target population with at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine, while almost a quarter of more than 4.9 crore that meets the requirements of people has been fully inoculated.
At 6 pm on Sunday, nearly 4.5 doses of crore were given in the state since the vaccination drive began.
The government has covers more than 3.3 crores (67.7% of the target) of people with the first dose, while more than 1.1 crores have been fully inoculated.

In seven days from August 28 to September 3, Karnataka gave more than 43.4 doses of lakh at a rate of around 6.2 lakh every day.

On Saturday and Sunday (up to 6pm), 3.7 lakh doses at around 1.8 lakh a day was given.
KV Trilok Chandra, Health Commissioner, has told TII in the last week of August that the country hopes to invent a dose of crore every month from September, and that the Karnataka government hopes to invest the entire target population by the end of this year.
As has become a trend since the vaccination program began in January, Bengaluru Urban has provided a large dose of the Admong District – 78.7% covered with one dose – while some districts in North Karnataka continue to be left behind.
Like the date, more than 1.1 crore doses have been given in Bengaluru Urban.
While more than 82.7 people have been covered with the first dose, more than 32 lakh have been fully inoculated.
