Two village heads Require oath inside Prison in UP

MUZAFFARNAGAR: 2 recently elected village heads, that have been jailed for violating prohibitory orders, also have obtained oath within Muzaffarnagar district prison, officials said on Wednesday. They also took the oath via CCTV camera Tuesday at the presence of prison officers and panchayat members, Jailor Kamlesh Singh told PTI. Meanwhile, the Mandwada village leader Faiz Mohammad was detained for breaking prohibitory orders and generating violence when his and his assistants took out a procession from the village on Tuesday, authorities said. More than a dozen people had been detained in this thing, they stated.
