Jaipur: The anti-corruption bureau team on Wednesday arrested two people in Ajmer for allegedly accepting RS 2 Lakh’s bribe.
Alleged that the number was taken for the husband of the Ass Ajmer Municipal Corporation, an official said.
The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has received a complaint that the husband members of the Board number 41 Ranjan Sharma have demanded Rs 50 Lakh in bribery through the Brokers of Kishan Khandelwal and Devendra Singh as a substitute for a construction work in the land of construction.
ACB took action after getting a verified complaint and arresting Khandelwal Kishan and Devendra Singh for taking a bribe of Rs 2 Lakh from the complainant.
ACB has registered a case under the prevention of corruption laws.
