Coimbatore: Tirupur rustic police arrested two men on Monday with the allegations of the Tamil Nadu state transportation bus conductor attacker (TNSTC) on Sunday night.
The police also ordered conductors based on complaints from one complaint from one of the men arrested.
He accused that the conductor attacked him and his friends because they did not give one coin rupee.
According to the police, R Selva, 19, from Paramakudi in Ramanathapuram District, S Ratheesh, 20, and R Raguneswaran, 20, both of Ellakudi in the Ariyalur district, take the TNSTC bus on Sunday night.
The bus is heading to Malumichampatti in the Coimbatore district of the Palladam Bus Stand in the Tirupur district.
The conductor, Angamuthu, 46, in his complaint stated that – Selva, Ratheesh, and Raguneswaran – did not wear a mask.
When Angamuthu asked the three men, they were suspected of fighting with the conductor and attacking him.
Selva managed to escape from that place.
Angamuthu and the bus driver, Kalyasundaram, arrested Ratheesh and Raguneswarn, beat them, and handed it to Palladam police.
A case was submitted against the three men below 294 (b) (said obscene words), 323 (sentences because voluntarily cause injury), 353 (violence or criminal to prevent public servants from their duties), and 506 (I) (Punishment For criminal intimidation) from the Indian Criminal Code.
Gaguneswaran, who suffered an injury during a fight, has been treated at the Palladam Government Hospital.
He also filed a complaint back with the police against Angamuthu.
According to complaints, the three men took the bus and handed 50 for Angamuthu for tickets.
The total ticket costs are 21.
Angamuthu asks the trio for one rupee.
Raguneswaran accused that the conductor took a fight with them and attacked them because they did not have the change he asked.
Based on his complaint, the police registered a case against Angamuthu under the Section 294 (b) (said obscene words) and 323 (punishment because voluntarily caused sickness from the Criminal Procedure Code.
