Kalyan: Two people have been arrested for attacking the police police who stopped their trucks in Kalyan because of doubt the supply of illegal supply.
Accused of being arrested identified as Gautam Tak (28) and Govind Rathod (41).
Police said no truck owner while Rathod worked as a driver.
The police said the two defendants were managed by Swapnil Tajane to do their work.
Police said Yogesh Patil’s complainant, who was responsible for the income team, from the office of the Thane collector, who took action against illegal sand children, on Thursday night during the patrol stopping trucks that bring suspicion of illegal sand supply.
The police said when the team stopped the truck driver, he called the owner and both of them did not reply correctly to the team and began behaving badly with them and when Constable Tanjane tried to stop them, they even attacked him well and even pushed him on the floor.
Pradeep Patil, Police Inspector from the Mahatma Phule Police Station said, “After getting a complaint, we had arrested the defendant and accused him of blocking government servants to do his job”.
