Guwahati: Two young men borne by a bicycle allegedly looted Rs 5 lakh from a woman in the Magzine Guwahati area on Wednesday.
This is the case of the third day robbery in Guwahati this year.
Last month, two similar incidents occurred in Guwahati Lachit Nagar and Jayanagar.
For information, criminals are in Tailings Jaya Rajkhowa, who travel by shared taxis.
As soon as he got off the taxi in the Magzine area, the criminals took a bag containing cash.
Rajkhowa submitted a complaint at the NoOmati police station and the investigation had begun on the incident.
On January 19, the person borne by the bicycle was allegedly looted by Rs 3 Lakh from someone in the Nagar Lachit Guwahati area.
The incident occurred when an employee of a gas institution went to deposit the cash amount of RS 3.04 lakh at the bank.
Another similar incident occurred on January 13 when criminals were transmitted by a bicycle looted around Rs 2 lakh from a man, Anil Shah, in the Jayanagar Guwahati area.
Shah has withdraw money from the nearest bank and go home when the incident happened.
