Kolkata: The city is set to receive light to heavy rain for the next four days because two consecutive systems crashed into the east coast – a storm of cyclones and other cyclone circulation – with the latter tend to have a greater impact on the city.
.
This system can be a larger system residue that comes from the South China Sea and has subsided, only to get back strength again in Bengal.
While deep depression in the north and adjacent to the middle of the Bengal Bulk developed into a typhoon on Saturday night, cyclone circulation was arranged to appear in Northeast Bay on Sunday.
Typhoon, on the other hand, is placed around 470 km east-southeast Gopalpur (Odisha) and is expected to move to the west and cross the coast of Andhra Pradesh North South Between Vishakhapatnam and Gopalpur around Kalingapatnam on Sunday night.
Typhoon, Chained ‘Gulab’, can trigger light rain into moderate rain in Kolkata and South Bengal, apart from producing high wind speeds in several coastal areas of the country, the word regional meteorology center (RMC).
“We hope the moderate rain in the city while the wind speed might touch 50 km / h in places like Digha so cyclically touch the beach.
But the impact of the cyclone will be minimal in Kolkata, even though the city can receive rain on Sundays and Mondays,” said Director of RMC GK Das.
However, the circulation of cyclones that will be developed above Northeast Bay on Sunday, however, it will likely trigger heavy rain in Kolkata and South Bengal.
“It’s likely to change to low pressure and move the nornhtwestwards and reach Bengal Beach around September 29.
But even before the system reaches the coast, the rain can begin in Gangal Bengal and Kolkata,” said the watershed.
He added that the city could be tied by a spacious and heavy bath mantra on September 28 night or on September 29.
Describe the development of the system above Bay Bay, weather scientists say this can be ‘the remnants of the larger system come from the South China Sea.
They lost steam after hitting other beaches in this region but residual clouds often float above Bay Bay.
“These remnants then collect moisture from the sea again, get energy and intensify back into cyclone or cyclone circulation.
Both may be produced from such remains,” said the watershed.
The system participated in the circulation of cyclones that hit Kolkata and South Bengal last Monday triggered an incessant flood which lasted more than eight hours, leaving most of its city and districts and disabled life in South Bengal.
Orange warnings for heavy rain have been issued for Kolkata and most other South Bengal District including North Korea and South Parganas, HOWRA, Midnapore, East and West, Hotgram, Jhargram, Bankura and Purulia on September 28 and 29.
Some of these areas, including Kolkata, can receive 70 mm-110 mm rain because the system passes through these districts, said a weather bulletin.
