Typical cups carry cheers into amateur theater activities

Nagpur: The first competitive theater activity after the second wave – The typical CUP One Act Play – concluded on Sunday with a large gift distribution event.
Competition instills new energy to amateur theater, said young activist.
Memories multiply, especially after Nitin Gadkari minister, protective competition, announced each of Rs 10,000 as ‘special production benefits’ for all 23 groups participating regardless of large gift money for winners.
All groups got a check on Monday morning and called it a Diwali prize that would give a big boost to the theater after being hit by a pandemic break.
“This theater is a celebration of life victory over a deadly virus.
Everyone is the winner here.
So, we decided to respect all participants,” Gadkari said, during the gift distribution event.
The senior theater actor likes Kulkarni-Mone and actor Devendra Dodke, who comes from Nagpur, is the main guest.
“Respecting the theater group to participate specifically at this festival.
All will get the RS 10,000 ahead of the new theater season which is a large number for amateur theater activists,” said Salim Sheikh, one of the prize winners for the scriptwriter for the game ‘te’.
The Khobragade education team won the first prize of Rs 51,000 for their game ‘Mazi Mazi Maza Paksha’ while the VMV College team pocketed the second prize of Rs 31,000 for their Hindi game ‘Suryasta SE Pehle’.
The third prize of RS 21,000 was given to the Ambhruni group for their ‘Mrutyunjay’ game.
Two groups were given entertainment prizes each Rs 11,000 apart from cash prizes to the best actors, the best directors and technical categories.
The event was followed by Natya Sangeet Evening presented by classical vocalist Anand Bhate and Manjusha Patil.
Together, they presented several iconic songs from the Musical Marathi theater.
Rahul Soapurkar, who fulfilled the event, shared several interesting anecdotes from the history of Marathi’s music drama, which was considered a period of Marathi Theater Gold.
Many of the first people in Hindi and Marathi are performed * Covid protocols followed * next year, entries from across Vidarbha will be invited
