Dubai: The United Arab Emirates said on a population of Friday which had been fully vaccinated with a shot approved by the World Health Organization could return on September 12 from the list of previously suspended countries.
Dubai, one of the seven UAE Emirates, will open the World Fair Expo 2020 on October 1 after a year-round delay due to a pandemic.
Regional business and tourism rely on fair to provide economic encouragement.
Previous organizers said they expected the remaining UAE flight restrictions imposed to curb Coronavirus infection to be taken on time for exhibition 2020.
Countries where residents can fly to UAE from September 12 are: India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Nepal, Vietnam, Namibia, Zambia, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Liberia, South Africa, Nigeria and Afghanistan.
Approval must be sought from the UAE government to return, and various PCR tests must be taken, the UAE national emergency crisis and disaster management authorities say on Twitter.
