KABUL: The United Arab Emirates said he had received Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and his family for “humanitarian considerations.” Ghani escaped from Afghanistan just as the Taliban approached Kabul.
The statement brought by the WAM Run UAE news agency on Wednesday did not say where Ghani was in the country.
It cites the state foreign ministry in a statement of one sentence.
