UAE to introduce green visas to attract talents and funds; plan to expand the scope of the gold visa

Mumbai: United Arab Emirates (UAE) sustains a list of hosting the number of largest immigrants from India, declared 3.5 million, according to the UN report (2020).
With the UAE set to launch a green visa and expand the feasibility for the Gold Visa, this number can grow with a leap and limit.
Technological workers from India, will benefit because the UAE plans to focus on hiring coders and attracting technology companies.
In a press conference on Sunday, under the ‘project 50’ banner which is a series of development and economic projects, which aims to make UEA ideal purposes for highly skilled individuals and investors, the restructuring of the entry and residency systems is announced.
Green visas will be launched, which expand their own status (in other words employer sponsor is not needed) to investors, entrepreneurs, highly skilled individuals, students and top graduates.
Green visa holders can sponsor their parents and children who reached the age of 25 years, expressing a press release issued by the UAE Government Media Office.
Another visa flow announced is a federal visa freelancer for entrepreneurs based in UAE and abroad in specialized fields such as artificial intelligence, Blockchain and digital currency.
The release added that the existence of existing Gold Visa will be expanded to include managers, CEOs, specialists in science, engineering, health, education, business and technology management.

The gold visa (which includes a partner, children, parents of visa holders), which was introduced in 2019, allowing foreigners to live, work, and study in the UAE without the need for national sponsors and with their 100 percent business ownership.
This visa is for tenure requirements and the investment of five or ten years is set.
For example, a ten-year visa requires a 10 million AED minimum investment that is attractive to Indians will be an emphasis on UAE development in the technology sector.
The ‘100 coders every day’ program is trying to attract 3,000 coders every month to the state labor.
The target is to increase the number of coders from 64,000 to 100,000 in twelve months and to facilitate the arrangement of programming companies in the UAE through a series of incentives and benefits.
UAE plans to hold ‘Pycon Summit’ – The biggest programming summit to be held in the Middle East in the second half of 2022.
Changes to other regulations announced is that for the loss of work, visa and dependent holders can remain in UAE for up to 6 months, not only 30 days.
Business travel permits also stood up from three months to six months.
