The Uber application for Apple Watches was launched in 2015 and many users have used this application on their wrist to order a taxi since then.
Uber has secretly ended support for the Apple Watch App app and the user can now only use their iPhone to order a taxi in Uber, report Macrumours.
Some users complained that the Uber application was not available in their Apple watch since December 2021.
Uber now recommends to Apple Watch users using the iPhone application to order Uber taxis.
It is not clear whether the Apple Watch application will be completely deleted from the App Store.
The Uber application is still available on the App Store for users to download and install.
The report shows that the application now shows a message about the support that falls after you install and open the application.
Uber also hasn’t updated its support page to show changes.
Support sites still suggest that uber applications can be used to order taxis.
Uber application for Apple Watches always has more limited functionality than iPhone applications.
The Watch application never supports Uberpool, solving tariffs, sharing ETA, or contacting Uber Driver.
This can be several reasons for the application stopped for Apple watches.
Lyft, uber rivals stopped the Apple Watch application and pulled it out of the App Store in 2018.
Since then, the taxi booking platform has not offered Apple Watch integration other than just notification.
