Dehradun: The Uttarakhand Board of the School Education Council (UBSE) states the results of the X and XII class council exams on Saturday with secondary schools that recorded a percentage of passing 99.09 while class XII recorded 99.56%.
Last year, class X recorded a passing percentage of 76.91% while class XII recorded 80.26%.
In high school results, boys outperformed girls after a decade as a former passing percentage of 99.30% while girls were 98.86%.
In fact, in the results of class XII, the girls maintain the tradition of outperforming boys because they scored 99.71% while the last score 99.40%.

A total combined 2.71 lakh students registered for the XII Council XII and class XII exam this year.
On the UBse class X-class exam, more than 1.48 Lakh candidates were registered while in class XII, more than 1.22 lakh registered.
The results are prepared in an alternative assessment scheme because the council test cannot be held this year due to Covid-19 pandemic.
As far as concerning the results of the XII council, only 10% of the weight given to performance in class XII is temporarily 3% and 40% of the weight material is given to class X and XI, respectively.
Even in class X, the majority of weight is given on performance in class IX.
“I want to appreciate all students this year because their studies are disrupted badly because of Covid-19 but they never retreat and continue with their academic studies,” said Arvind Pandey, Minister of State Education.
Among 13 Uttarakhand districts, Rudraprayag posted the best percentage of the best pass at 99.74 in the UBSE class X results.
The overall percentage pass for female students is 99.67 and for male students is 99.81.
Bageshwar followed Erat Rudraprayag by posting a total pass percentage of 99.64.
Tehri Garhwal and Uttarkashi also posted impressive results by recording the total pass percentage of 99.54 and 99.36 respectively.
As for the results of class XII, Chamoli recorded the best percentage of the overall pass from 99.95, followed by Pithoragarh (99.93), champawat (99.92), and Pauri (99.91).
