Jaipur: A 73-year-old man, who has been tested positively for the Omicron variant of Coronavirus, died after recovering from infection.
The Ministry of Health claims that the parents, residents of the Savina area in the Udaipur district, died of post-covid complications, not Covid-19.
The patient was taken to the MB Hospital which was attached to the RNT medical college with Covid-19 symptoms on December 15.
“He has been tested negatively for Covid-19 on December 21.
Even after the second test conducted on December 25, he has been tested.

He was declared recovered from Covid-19.
But, because of the complications of post covid, he still admitted at the hospital , “Dr.

The sample was sent for Gemone’s sequencing and the report was received by the Udaipur Health Department official on December 25, when he recovered from Covid-19.
Patients have comorbidity that might worsen his condition.
“He suffered from comorbidity, including diabetes, hypertension and hypothyroidism,” Dr Kharadi said.
The Ministry of Health conducts the search contacts who died and did not find anyone in the contacted contacted Covid-19.
