Uddhav took Digging on the former police former Mumbai ‘missing’

Mumbai: DIGI which is clear to the former Police Commissioner Mumbai Param Bir Singh, Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday said there was a case in the state where the complainant was gone.
Thackeray made the statement at the inauguration of two wings of the Annexe building on the Aurangabad bench from the Bombay High Court.
Chairman of Indian Justice N V Ramana, Law Minister for Kiren Rijuju, the Supreme Court Judge D Y Chandrachud and the others were present on that occasion.
“Justice D Y Chandrachud shows (during the address on the show) that a case was waiting in Maharashtra since 1958 when the defendant escaped.
But today we have a case where the complainant is gone,” Thackeray said.
“He gave complaints to make serious charges, but now it’s gone.
We don’t know where he is.
This is something that also needs to be seen,” he added.
Although the minister’s chairman did not name anyone, his remarks seemed to be targeted at Senior IPS officers, who had leveled allegations of corruption against former Minister of Maharashtra Anil Deshmukh.
A few days ago, during the hearing of publishers relating to Singh, the Maharashtra government had told Bombay HC that his existence was unknown.
A few days after he was addressed as Police Commissioner Mumbai, Singh had claimed to be a letter to the main minister earlier this year that Deshmukh was used to ask police officers to raise money from restaurants and bars in Mumbai.
Deshmukh, a NCP leader, resigned as a minister in April this year, even though he has denied the allegations of him.
Central Investigation Bureau (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigated the allegations made against Deshmukh by Singh.
During his speech, the minister’s chairman added that the state government now plans to launch a project where the new high court complex will be built in Mumbai.
“I want to extend my invitation to the Chairman of India Judge NV Ramana at this time to come to his functions like and when it happened.
I will try to ensure that the foundation puts the new building complex and the inauguration is equally done by me.
The government,” he said.
His statement seems to respond to the comments of the Minister of Rijiju that the foundation for this building (Aurangabad Bench) was laid by former Maharashtra Minister Devendra Fadnavis, while Thackeray had come for the inauguration.
Thackeray added that the dispensing judge was the team work involving all four pillars of democracy.
“We all have to work as a team to ensure that there is no pillar that collapsed,” he added.
Thackeray said that when Dr.
Babasaheb Amedkar framed the Constitution, he was asked about the rights of the central and state government, and he replied that except some rights for the center, the country would be the same.
“Dr.
Ambedkar has explained that the country is sovereign, except for some strength to the central government.
But are the rights of these countries held today? We must check,” he said.
India has completed 75 years of independence, he said, added, “If we think that we should not lose our independence, I ask all judges to guide the country about the meaning of independence.” Occupying a certain position does not mean that your desire is your authority.
Desire and rights are two different things, someone must say this, Thackeray said.
