Mumbai: Head of Maharashtra Minister Uddhav Thackeray has urged opposition parties to win community trust and also ask them to remain united and strong.
He made this attraction during the virtual meeting of the opposition leaders organized by the President of Congress Sonia Gandhi on Friday.
Talking to reporters, Shiv Sena Leader Sanjay Raut on Saturday said, “During the meeting, Thackeray emphasized that the parties had to win the trust of people.” “To this day, there is no appetite for power between opposition parties, but even when the chair of power is seen, people must be able to trust opposition parties with the belief that they will remain strong and quoting,” Thackeray said during the meeting.
Rajya members Sabha Sena said that Sonia Gandhi had personally called all parties and asked them to join the meeting.
The meeting was attended by the leaders of 19 opposition parties, including NCP Supremo Sharad Pawar and four main ministers of non-Congress – Mamata Banerjee (West Bengal), MM K Stdin (Tamil Nadu) and JMM Hemant Soren (Jharkhand) and Uddhav Thackeray.
During the meeting, Gandhi urged leaders to rise above political compulsion to take BJP for the sake of the nation and began planning to “systematically” to realize the “ultimate goal” won the Lok Sabha 2024 poll to provide the government who believed in the Government The freedom of the freedom and provisions of the constitution.
