Udupi: District administration plans to establish a virtual 3D venue to offer tourists prominently traveling without traveling.
Deputy Deputy of Udupi M Kurma Rao has asked the Ministry of Tourism officials to establish virtual 3D spaces in the leading tourist destinations in the district.
“Most tourists only visit one or two tourist attractions in this district.
If the virtual 3d place is set, they will get the chance to see all the tourist attractions in the district without traveling there.
It will also help promote tourism in the district,” DC said Given the district tourism committee meeting.
There are many tourist destinations that have not been developed, he said, and directed officials of the Ministry of Tourism to invite the expression of interest from the organization to prepare detailed project reports.
The three hectares of the port department near the Kaup lighthouse can be developed into a tourist destination.
Aquariums and other tourism activities can also be planned there.
The department must submit a proposal to get land from the port department.
Identify all the leading tourist destinations in five district assembly segments so they were developed.
Trained travel guides must also be appointed, said DC.
To promote kayak, the department must identify suitable institutions and clubs that have the expertise to handle sports.
“For the convenience of home boats, sand beams that cause threats will be cleaned through dredging.
The tourism department must get permission from the Department of Environment if the area is under the coastal regulations (CRZ),” he added.
DC also directs officials to complete all the earliest development work.
