Udupi is ready to welcome grade 1-5 students

Udupi: With the classes on campus ready to start for grade 1-5 students from Monday, Deputy Director Udupi Public Instructions, N H Nagur, has directed all schools to strictly follow the Covid-19 protocol and appropriate behavior.
All teachers in the district have been vaccinated.

All classrooms have been dissed and masks have been made mandatory for students, he said.
Meeting of the Taluk Level of all school principals and officials of the Ministry of Education has been held.
Schools are asked to prioritize student safety.
Until the end of the month, a half-day class will be held and a full day class will begin on November 2.
The district has eight schools with more than 500 students, where two are elementary schools and six are secondary schools.
Because space can be an obstacle, the teachers have been directed to utilize the corridor.

They were also asked to review teaching at school and check whether students learn well.
The school has been directed not to take classes in classrooms that are in a dilapidated state.
Students who are left behind in the study must be identified and provide special attention.
Attending physical classes is not compulsory – students can attend classes only with parents’ approval, said DDPI, adding online class will continue.
