TOKYO: Six members of the Ugandan Olympic staff were quarantined in Japan until early July, a local official said Tuesdayafter a trainer tested positive for coronavirus on birth a week.
Even the nine-member delegation including fighters, coaches and officials, came on Saturday only more than a month prior to the pandemic-postponed Games.
However, even despite being vaccinated and analyzing negative before traveling, a trainer tested positive through screening in Tokyo’s Narita airport.

The eight associates have tested negative and so are in good shape, the official stated.
They haven’t left the resort since coming or had contact with other people, he further added.
