UGC asked the University to complete reception to a 1-year course on September 30, starting a session by October 1

New Delhi: Grant University (UGC) Commission on Friday directing the college that reception for first year courses for the 2021-22 session must be resolved no later than September 30 and the academic session must begin on October 1, 2021.
UGC has published guidelines on academic exams and calendars considering Covid-19 to all universities and colleges.
Rajnish Jain, Secretary, UGC sent a letter to the representative of the University Chancellor and the Principal of College and told them about the new guidelines about the examination and academic calendar considering the Covid-19 pandemic.

The last date for the remaining empty seats is 31 October 2021.
Relevant documents from Qualification checks can be accepted until 31 December 2021.

“The 2021-2022 academic session will begin the latest on October 1, 2021, for the first semester / year students,” UGC added.
In accordance with the guidelines for the UGC guidelines on the examination, the current academic session 2020-21 Terminal / Year semester exam (2020-2021) must be made in offline mode (pen & paper) / online / mixed (online + offline) by not no later than August 31, 2021, participated in the prescription protocol / guidelines related to Covid-19 pandemic.
The results of all school boards for class XII are expected to be stated on July 31, 2021.
However, if there is a delay in the results declaration, higher education institutions can plan and start an academic session on October 18, 2021.
“The teaching and learning process can continue in online / offline / mix mode,” UGC added.
