LONDON: British health ministry Matt Hancock stated on Tuesday that the Covid-19 data seems supporting and now indicates England’s lockdown can completely end on July 19 as intended because a current increase in cases isn’t leading to deaths.
“We are on course for its launch to the 19th of July, and we are going to watch vigilantly and we will examine the information particularly in the beginning of the next week,” Hancock told BBC radio.
“However, I’d say that the information, within the previous week or so, continues to be reassuring, and particularly taking a look at the amount of folks that are perishing, that’s remaining quite, very low, and it indicates that the vaccine is currently functioning”.
