LONDON: British Prime Minister Boris Johnson mourns the death of his mother, professional painter Charlotte Johnson Wahl, who suddenly died in the hospital here.
The 79-year-old child suffered from Parkinson’s disease and notice of his death in the ‘The Times’ newspaper said that he died “suddenly and peacefully” at St.
Hospital.

Johnson once described his mother as a “highest authority” in the family.
He and Johnson’s father, Stanley Johnson, has four children – Boris, Journalist Rachel, former Johnson parliamentary member, and Leo – before divorcing in 1979.
In 1988 married to American professor Nicholas Wahl.
They lived in New York and returned to London in 1996 after Wahl died.
At the age of 40, he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease but continued the painting, stabilizing himself with the framework running when he worked.
During the interview in 2008, Wahl said referring to Parkinson’s: “I tried to paint every day if I could, even though I had to go a lot to the hospital.” I still managed to paint, even though my arm suddenly would do it a truly unintentional movement, and that almost brought me to cry.
