LONDON: England reported 28,773 other Coronavirus cases in the latest 24 hours, the highest daily increase since the end of January, according to official figures released on Tuesday.
The total number of cases of Coronavirus in this country is now standing at 4,958,868, the Xinhua news agency reported.
The country also recorded 37 deaths related to other Coronavirus.
The total number of deaths related to Coronavirus in the UK now stands at 128,268.
These numbers only include the deaths of people who died within 28 days after their first positive test.
More than 45.4 million people in the UK have received the First Jambuan Covid-19 vaccine and more than 33.8 million people have received two doses, official figures show.
Previously on Tuesday, British Health Secretary Sajid Javid said that from August 16, the people in the UK who had received two doses no longer had to isolate themselves if they came into contact with someone who had tested positive Covid-19.
If someone gets the second dose before, or after August 16, they have to wait until two weeks after they get the second jab to benefit from this new freedom so that the vaccine has time to build the maximum possible protection, he told parliamentary members at the House of Commons, Home under the British parliament.

The two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine can reduce symptomatic infections to almost 80 percent, according to Javid.
He believes “this protective wall” means the opportunity has shifted “benefit us, and we can see better than many steps we have to place”.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson confirmed on Monday that most of the restrictions of Coronavirus would end on July 19 as part of the final step of the English road map out of the locking, although the warnings of scientists who raised all restrictions at this stage would increase the possibility of dangerous variants.
The government also looks at the rules of self isolation for international arrival so that it can remove the need for individuals that are fully visible to isolate when they return from the Amber list countries, according to Javid.
