Dehradun: The Head of Uttarakhand Minister Tirath Singh Hawked on Wednesday was immediately called to Delhi to fulfill the BJP Central Leadership, sparking speculation in the political circle that the state could go to the initial assembly election.
However, this cannot be confirmed.
This speculation is caused by a distinctive situation arising from the fact that CM is not a member of the State Assembly.
He is currently a MP Lok Sabha from Tehri Garhwal, and needs to win the assembly chair on September 10 to be able to continue as the main minister.
Usually, he can enter the Assembly after winning the Bypoll.
However, the selection of assembly is expected to be held early next year, and former Minister of Congress NAV Prabhat recently quoted the provisions of the representation of people to say that the Bypoll cannot be held if the election is scheduled within one year.
NAV Prabhat claims that this will leave BJP without choice but to change the country again before the assembly poll.
Praying was in Ramnagar until Tuesday attending ‘Chintan Shivir’ party, a three-day brainstorming session for the upcoming assembly poll, and just returned to Dehradun when he got a call.
He canceled the appointment for the day and went to the national capital.
Asked about Delhi’s visit, he said, “Because we have a three-day brainstorming session at Ramnagar, I will discuss the long conclusions with senior party members.” The question on the Bypoll debate, CM said, “party leadership will receive the call”.
Meanwhile, Nav Prabhat, when contacted, said he did not want to comment on CM’s visit to Delhi as “it was an internal affair”.
He added, “I was waiting for the election commission to announce his decision about this problem.
But the visit was suddenly visible.” Subodh Uniyal state government spokesman said “There is not much to be read” into CM visits to Delhi.
“Visit to Delhi is not a huge problem.
Visits like party leaders often but some people tried to exaggerate it,” he said.
Bypoll Impasse, Uniyal said, “The government’s responsibility is to notify the election commission about each empty constituency and after that EC takes a call about the problem.” We have given EC.
“At present, two assembly seats – Gangotri and Haldwani – lie empty in the state.
The Gangotri chair fell on April 22 after the death of the Gopal BJP Legislator during the MLA Congress from Haldwani Indira Hridesesh died on June 13.
