LONDON: The United Kingdom is planning a plan where people will not be legally bound to isolate themselves after capturing Covid-19, Telegraph reports on Sunday.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson wants to revoke emergency emergency law permanently when Covid-19 English cases continue to fall, the report said, adding an official guide to remain but will not produce a fine or legal penalty if ignored.
The plan will be done over the coming weeks, with the expected announcement at the beginning of spring, the report said.
Last week, Health Secretary Sajid Javid said Covid-19’s self isolation in the UK would be cut for up to five days from seven if someone tested negative twice.
Johnson was also set to raise the B Covid-19 Restrictions plan, introduced last month to slow down the spread of the omicron variant, according to the previous telegraph report.
