Ulama ordered the command of Muharram; It does not oppose any religion, said ADG

Lucknow / Noida: The days after the police chief sent an internal order to police senior officials about restrictions and protocols to be followed during the Muharram religious month, part of the community, including scholars and spokesman for religious organizations, has expressed a ‘language’ memo displeasure.
Internal orders, which were issued on July 31, were aimed at the Police Commissioner, senior police supervisor (SSP) and SPS, and detailed how the police could ensure that Muharram ‘was celebrated’ in the state with compliance with the right behavior and by keeping in mind restrictions in place to overcome a pandemic.
It also asked the police chief and SP / SSP not to give permission for the procession in Muharram this year.
However, the letter led the Secretary General of the Majlis-e-Ulama-e-Hind, Maulana Kalbe Jawad, to state on Monday that communication with DGP rose only after the document was withdrawn.
The Shiite All-India Personal Law Council (AISPLB) also holds a meeting and calls the order of “Chargesheet against the Shiite Community”.
Clerics said the internal letter was ‘unacceptable’ and showed a peaceful Shias in a bad light.
Calling the language “condemn”, Jawad said he had appealed to the Muharram and Anjumans committee in all states, Sunni and Hindu Azadars (those who commemorate Muharram) to boycott all police and administrative meetings held before the beginning of the month.
“DGP must apologize and pull the round first before we take part in the meeting in the future,” he added.
Secretary and AISPLB spokesman Maulana Yasoob Abbas said, “We will immediately meet Cm Yogi to find out who behind this document.
We will give a memorandum on August 8 against DGP in various districts.” However, the police said it was internal communication intended for The district police official guardian is about security during Muharram and that part of it is called ‘unpleasant’ is about ‘anti-social elements’.
In communication issued by the DGP, there was direction to the police chief to remain vigilant, spread PAC and monitor social media.
DGP says that whatever weapon display will be annulled.
He also urged officers to communicate with religious leaders about spreading awareness about Covid and the need to observe Muharram in the room.
He also ordered the spread of a number of sufficient police personnel in sensitive areas.
After the uproar, ADG (law and order) Prashant Kumar said the ‘DOS and DOKS’ was issued on July 31 for officers in the field for Muharram.
“This is an internal command department based on events that have occurred before,” he added.
He said nothing was mentioned to any community or religion, only that ‘anti-social elements’ could try to disturb harmony so that they had to be closely monitored.
“As such orders are issued before each ‘festival’,” he added.
Meanwhile, in GB Nagar, the police and scholars were preparing for the annual meeting that occurred before a large scale event.
The additional police commissioner (law and order), Love Kumar, said, “Peace Meeting with Muslim Clerics is an annual affair in front of Eid.
This year too, they have started where this problem will be discussed.” Mufti Mohammad Rashid, Imam from the mosque The biggest GB Nagar in Sector 8, said they would wait for peace to meet to take place.
“Every decision will occur only after that.
Other clergy also appealed to the administration to cancel orders.” The decision up not to allow religious procession during Muharram came after the government banned Kanwar Yatra earlier last month because of a pandemic.
