Kalyan: Corporator of Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation, Ajit (Pappu) Gupta (35), died in an accident on the road at the end of Friday night in Ulhasnagar.
The incident occurred when Ajit together with two other people driving a car that was broken by another vehicle near Rayta on Jalan Kalyan-Murbad.
In the accident, the other two suffered serious injuries and they underwent treatment at a private hospital.
Ajit was taken to the central hospital where he was declared dead.
Ajit is Prabhunath Gupta’s son who was selected three times the corporator of Ulhasnagar.
