Thane: part of the empty building collapsed in the city of Ulhasnagar the Thane Maharashtra district on Monday due to very heavy rain continued to pound the city.
The building, named Ambika Sagar Apartment, is located in Camp 3 of Ulhasnagar, near Powai Chowk.
Because of the unrelenting rainfall, the balcony of one of the flat-storey flats collapsed on Monday morning, locals got information.
However, there were no injuries or casualties reported in the incident.
This is the fourth incident reported in Ulhasnagar in the last three months.

In July 2019, the same slab of the building had fallen, resulting in the death of a three-year-old child.
Immediately after the incident, the building was declared ‘dangerous’ by local civilian bodies and residents were asked to empty the structure.
However, even after two years since the accident, there was no action taken in a dilapidated building.
Still standing in dangerous conditions, pose a threat to life and property people living nearby.
A few days ago, three people were injured after a flat slab collapsed at Ulhasnagar-1.
In a similar incident on May 2021, seven people lost their lives.
In the past few weeks, Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation (UMC) has issued a notice to dozens of structures throughout the city, marking it as dangerous, and has asked residents to resolve structural audits and submit reports to the authorities.
