GENEVA: The United Nations human rights leader Michelle Bachelet stated on Thursday that Israel’s mortal strikes on Gaza will constitute war crimes if they’re proven to become disproportionate.
Bachelet, launching a special session of the UN Human Rights Council, called in the request of Muslim nations, said she’d seen no signs that civilian structures in Gaza struck Israeli strikes were used by for army purposes.
“If discovered disproportionate, these attacks may represent war crimes,” she advised the 47-member Geneva forum.
She urged Hamas Islamist staples in Gaza to refrain from showing rockets on Israel.
