UN Supports 26,425 Offenses against children in armed Struggle in 2020

NEW YORK: The United Nations confirmed at 26,425 grave offenses against children in armed struggle during 2020, such as cases of murdering, recruiting and sexual assault, a report from the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres shown on Monday.
“In 2020, the problem of children in armed struggle was indicated with a continual large number of grave offenses,” the report stated.
“Meanwhile, the United Nations confirmed 26,425 tomb crimes, of which 23,946 were perpetrated in 2020 and 2,479 were dedicated earlier but confirmed just in 2020.” The maximum number of violations was that the recruitment of several 8,521 kids, the murdering of 2,674 and maiming of all 5,748 kids, in addition to over 4,000 episodes of humanitarian access refusal, ” the report stated.
The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Afghanistan, Somalia, Syria and Yemen had witnessed the Greatest amounts of grave crimes against kids.
