Patna: Almost four days before his marriage, a girl with her boyfriend was suspected of committing suicide in Rukul Village under the Pandaul police station in Madhubani district.
The problem was revealed after their body was found floating in the water, named Jham Das Pokhar in the village on Sunday morning.
The bodies were fishing and then identified as a boy Akshay Kumar (20) and a Hema Kumari girl (19) who was a neighbor in Ruchul Village.
Madhubani Satya Prakash said that the girl and boy were lost from Friday but no family members reported the incident to the police.
“There are no signs of an external injury to the body.
Prima Facie appears to be both committing themselves after failing to marry each other,” he said.
SP said that members of the girl’s family and children had submitted a written petition at the Pandaul Police Station that they had no suspicion about the game of violations in their deaths and did not want to get post-mortem carried out.
The Pandaul Sho Shankar Kumar police station said that Hema’s family members had improved their marriages with other boys.
“He was ready to get married in the next four days.
However, he married running with Akshay in the hope of marrying him.
Maybe they failed and committed suicide by jumping in the pool,” he said.
He said family members from both parties were looking for themselves continuously after the villagers saw their bodies floating in the pool and lifting alarms.
