Kanpur Revision: Bithoor, a Religious City of Kannpur Nagar, will be developed as a tourist place with a budget RS 100 Crore under the Arth Ganga project.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has named this project as an Arth Ganga project.
Under this project, districts along the Ganges River will be connected with passing cruise ships.
The cruise will not only bring passengers, but also work as a item generator.
There is hope that after this service, business in the district located on the banks of the river will increase.
According to Anupam Srivastava, the Tourism Officer project worth Rs 100 Crore has been cleaned.
Now, detailed project reports (DPR) will be prepared.
“The Ministry of Tourism will decorate Ghats of the Ganga and describe the history of Tithoor.
Brahmawart Ghat, Pathar Ghat, Druv Teela and other places will be decorated with solar lights and various species will be planted.
In addition, gangga nursery will be established where medicinal plants will grow, “he added.
“The central government spends a lot of money in cleaning the river under the Gange Namami and Ghats of Bithoor projects that have been renovated from funds released under the project.
However, this is not enough considering the Department of Tourism.
To attract more tourists, some more developments needed,” he added Furthermore.
He told TII on Thursday that under this project, each Ghat from Rishikesh (Uttrakhand), Bithoor (Kanpur) and Bhagalpur (Bihar) was chosen to develop it from a tourist perspective.
In addition to local crafts and culture, local recipes will be published.
Bithoor is a religious place and historical place.
Therefore, it will be a special attraction for religious tourists.
Tourism will increase the income of local residents and crafts.
The cycle trajectory of Dhruv Teela to Pathhar Ghat was also proposed.
Similarly, an amphitheater is also planned under the project.
Srivastava states that on the haridwar and Varanasi line, the Ganga Aarti daily will be carried out here and efforts will be made to keep river water on Ghats even during the summer.
For tourists and visitors, the court of food will be raised where local leading shops are local and others will open their counters.
Bithoor is chosen because it is very important.
