Saligao: Technology Minister of Science Michael Lobo said under the leadership of the Pramod Sawant minister, the country marched towards becoming Swyampurna (Mandiri).
The government works to bring new infrastructure such as roads, bridges and airports to facilitate the growth of our country, he added.
Lobo spoke on the celebration of independence day in the government complex in Mapapa.
He also ensured full support for the tourism industry, which he said had suffered from a pandemic “I tried continuously to make free goa waste by increasing our existing waste management facilities and also added new facilities that would serve other parts of the cave.” Lobo , who is also the minister of waste management, said.
Mapusa Mla Joshua d’Souza, Chairman of Mapaa Municipal Council Shubhangi Vaingankar, Mapusa Member, Additional collector of Mhadev Arondekar, Mamlatdar Laxmikant Kutikar and the others also attended the flag lifting.
Students from various schools in Mapapa and staff deputy collectors and Mamlatdar offices also participated in the celebration.
