Chennai: For Malayalis in the city, this Onam is the season of hope.

“There are 26 dishes and all the food is packed in a stainless steel container and then put it in a hot bag so that it remains hot.
If people return the ship, we will give 500 back,” he said.
Jhind Restaurant at Grand Chennai by GRT also offers Ona Sadya from Thursday to Sunday just for lunch while the GRT Cloud Kitchen has Bawaway Sadyas on Saturday and Sunday.
“We are back celebrating life again.
Last Onam, we are not sure what is Covid but this year we know how to deal with it,” said Vikram Cotah, CEO, GRT Hotels & Resorts, added that the restaurant will function at a capacity of 50%.
Jignesh Pujara, founder of the owner of Lyfe by Soul Garden Bistro, said the dinner option available at Kilpat’s outlet from Friday to Sunday.
“We have a South Indian chef team, which will present Sadya, which has around 20 dishes,” he said.
Svasa serves authentic Sadya Ona and Jain’s version without onions or garlic on Saturdays and Sundays.
