Herat (Afghanistan): After the Taliban takeover, the former Afghan women’s army faced heat from the turn of the event under the new regime.

Jamila, 28, an Afghan military officer in the western city of Herat Province, said that he felt like living in prison.
He said, “I feel like in prison.
I have to be at home.
I can’t work or get out.
I’m very scared.” VOA news was reported.
The Taliban has imposed restrictions on women and said that this is in line with Islamic law.
More than 6,300 women served in the former Afghan national defense and security forces and now these women are under the threat of the Taliban.
They are afraid of their lives and constantly fear about what might happen.
The Taliban has enacted many repressive rules in women including forbid education, work and long trips.
After Afghanistan fell to the Taliban, the incident of a woman who threatened to be ‘new normal.
Millions of unemployed people and many who were left starving after the country’s aid cut the post-Taliban regime but the Taliban insisted tighten women’s rules.
Jamila said, “We have no hope that everything will change.
I don’t think that Afghan military women have a future under the Taliban”.
He did not reveal his real name when he was afraid if the Taliban knew, they would make it in trouble, report VOA news.
Human Rights Watch and the United Nations accused the Taliban in November from a summary of more than 100 former Afghan security officials.

Jamila served for 10 years in the 207th Corps of Zafar (victory) from the Afghan National Army, headquartered in Herat Province.
He said that every day, he heard bad news.
Every day he knows someone who has been killed or has disappeared.
His fear had grown so much so he felt that he would be killed.
“I’m afraid of them (Taliban) might find me and kill me,” he said.
