New Delhi: Commuter tends to breeze through a busy intersection in South Delhi from March and so on because the underpass development will be completed at the end of February, officials said.
According to the Public Works Department (PWD), almost 90% of work has been completed.
At present, work related to the addition of ramps on both sides of the underpass is being carried out, which will be completed next month.
“This project is in his last leg.
After the work includes ramps, only finishing touches will remain.
We hope the underpass will be ready to be used starting in March,” said a senior PWD official to PTI with the provisions of anonymity.
He, however, said work steps had slowed slightly in the past two weeks due to rain.
