Agra: 32-year-old undertrial detainees, Om Prakash, died at the Mathura District Hospital during treatment on Thursday.
He was put forward in prison on charges of theft last month.
According to the prison authorities, the inmates were initially taken to the prison hospital after he began to cough up on Thursday.
Then, he was referred to the district hospital because his condition began to deteriorate.
He died there during treatment.
His body has been sent for post-Mortem.
Brijesh Kumar’s supervisor told toi that the prisoner came from Kalan’s chance.
His lungs are damaged, according to post-mortem reports.
His family told the authorities that he was a TB patient and did not take the right treatment for this disease.
