BELOGIVAVI: Allegations of murder facing down due to a heart attack in the Hindalga Central Prison in Bellagavi on Friday night.
The deceased was Gururaj Doddamani, 28.
He was arrested for killing Taslim a Rowdy Sheeter from Kerala.
The source at the Hindalga prison said Gururaj fainted around 5pm after that he was escorted to the hospital.
But he died on his way to the BELOGIVI INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES (BIMS).
The source said he was a Supari killer and came from the Dharwad district.
He also faced cases in Dharwad, Kalaburagi, Vijayapura and Gadag.
A senior prison official said he experienced some health problems and was taken to hospital several times.
