Ludhiana: Police, on Tuesday, ordered a man for raping a 10-year-old daughter of her live-in partner.
The incident took place on January 6.
However, a complaint was submitted on Monday, after the FIR was registered where.
In his complaint to the police, Ms.
Minor said, “Six years ago, my husband left me and my daughter.
Over the past two years, I have lived with the defendant as a live-in partner.
On Monday, my daughter told me that the defendant raped him on January 6 when he was alone at home.
Previously, he was afraid to talk about it.
“When the complainant faced with the defendant he began to fight with him and escape from home.
Inspector Ravinder Kumar said the defendant had previously worked as a driver.
“He lost his job.
And since then, he has stayed at home.
His live-in partner works as a laborer to run a house.” The police have registered cases under the IPC 376 (rape) of the IPC and the prevention of children from sexual violations (Pocso).
“Manhunt has been launched to arrest the defendant,” the police added.
