Rajkot: Jamnagar police arrested a man from Uttarakhand in connection with the murder of a 39-year-old Nepalese woman who was hacked to death and was robbed on July 11.
Police arrested Mahmmad Faiz Jamaluddin Ansari after getting specific information about his involvement and scanning CCTV recording.
“Ansari lived and worked in Dared in Jamnagar.
We came to know that after committing a crime, he fled to his home village in the district of Udham Singh Nagar.
We have sent a team and arrested him,” police said.
Ansari allegedly killed Anju Nepal in his room and robbed his cellphone cash and Rs 3,000.
The police said he committed a crime because he ran out of money and could not find any work.
