Hyderabad: If it’s missing from the Ramappa temple last time, the fort and monument to the DECCAN Sultanate – scattered in Telangana and Karnataka – have been defeated by Kutch Distrabution Dholavira this time, in the race for the UNESCO World Heritage site tag.
Apparently, the authorities have decided to prioritize archaeological sites from Gujarat, as Indian entries for UN recognition (UNESCO).
The DECCAN Sultanate Monument – which consists of five dynasties who ruleed Bijapur, Golconda, Bidar, Ahmadnagar, and Berar – including Golconda Hyderabad, Gumbaz Vijayapura’s goal, the grave of Hafta Gumburagi Kalaburagi District and Bidar Royal Citadel.
“This is an important nomination as 12 ASI monuments in the Gulbarga feature, Bidar, Bijapur and Golconda on the list together, rather than one isolated structure.
The nomination has been submitted, but Dholavira has been prioritized this year,” said Ratiwe Nanda, Director of the Project, Aga Khan Trust for Culture (AKTC).
The UNESCO nomination list also states that India has indicated his desire to prioritize Dholavira this year.
“World heritage tags for the DECCAN Sultanate in the future will open the way for the development of a legacy circuit consisting of three districts (Vijayapura, Kalaburagi and Bidar).
It will also run away in the historical monument that is maintained and maintained correctly,” said M Naveen Kumar , The conservation assistant is responsible for Golconda.
