Union budget: no specific for Bihar

Patna: The Union budget does not even touch the request of the Bihar Special Package submitted by Deputy Deputy CM and BJP Tarkishore Prasad at the Pre-Budget Meeting of the United Finance Minister with the Minister of Finance held in Delhi on December 30.
JD (U) Nitish Kumar has emphasized the status of the specific category for the country.
However, the budget allows a fiscal deficit of up to 4.5% of GSDP.
Bihar has demanded an increasing loan from financial institutions of up to 4.5% of GSDP.
Although there is nothing specific to referring to Bihar, but the State will benefit from projects such as the development of toll roads and cargo under PM Gati Shakti Yojana, as well as encouragement on solar power and RS19,500 crore rations for it.
The two projects are in the pipeline in Pirpainty (Bhagalpur) and Kajra (Lakhisarai) in Bihar.
Announcement of tax reduction in leather goods and clothing (fabric) may help in promoting the creation of hubs for their production in the state.
Furthermore, pressure on “chemical-free organic farming,” the main assistance for fruit and vegetable farmers and other farmers, and organic agricultural promotion in the corridor 5 km along the ganga side may also benefit Bihar.
In addition, the budget emphasizes promoting oil seed cultivation, coarse pulses and grains (Jowar, Bajra, etc.) and increasing the volume of procurement of rice and wheat is to help the country.
