Patna: The Minister of State for the Health and Welfare of the Bharti Pawar family on Saturday appreciates the role of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences-Patna (AIIMS-P) in providing health care services to Bihar people during difficult times in Covid.

Director AIIMS-P Dr.
P K Singh said more than 1.37 lakh patients visited the OPD between April 2020 and March this year and 1,994 Covid patients were hospitalized for care.
He said the effort was to introduce robotic operating facilities and burn treatment immediately.
“Thirty-one clinical and 10 non-clinical departments with 138 faculty members functioned at the hospital,” he added.
Rajesh Bhushan, Secretary and Dharmendra Singh Gangsar, advisers of additional financial secretaries for the Ministry of Health and family welfare, also discussed their functions.
AIIMS-P provides a gold, silver and bronze medal to several MBBS students and nursing courses that perform well in different tests.
Those who received the gold medal were Sanjana Malakar, Gulam Mustafa, Prerna, Vibha Kumari and Kumari Akriti.
AIIMS-P annual magazine – ‘Spandan’ – also released.
